Nicole Brown will be co-presenting with Diane Ehrenpreis (Curator of Decorative Arts and Historic Interiors, Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello) and Ashley Hollinshead (Team Lead, Education & Visitor Programs, Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello) at the 2025 Conrad M. Hall Symposium for Virginia History.

This panel discusses new research on Martha Wayles Skelton Jefferson to reveal her actions and sacrifices in supporting the Patriot cause during the American Revolution, as well as their suppression by her husband, Thomas Jefferson.
